Hello, and thank you all for your continued support in our mission to making Kentucky a better Commonwealth for all. As always this mission cannot succeed with out the action of concerned citizens such as yourself. So please consider donating for change even a small donation can be the stone that creates ripples in this sea of humanity.
"If you want to be in politics start with the guy in front of you."
At its most basic level politics is about the people, as it should be. It is about the mother of two working two jobs to make ends meet. It is about the immigrant working summer jobs in an effort to forge a better life. It is about a miner joining a union to ensure better, more humane conditions. It is about the people one wishes to serve. For that is what a politician is. If you wanted to use base terms, a politician is a "career servant of the people." By reading the title you will have seen my clever breaking of the word candidate, because by breaking down the very word of what I aspire to be for you all, it gives us a very clear idea of what that office is meant to be. The word candid means to be straightforward, truthful, and honest, and that is what I wish to be for you all. That is something I think we have sorely lost in todays political field, and something we cannot afford to let slip into oblivion. We each must continue to grasp for it and demand it from our officials.
The people of Kentucky are some of the most kind, considerate, and thoughtful people I have had the pleasure of working with, and they deserve a candidate that care about them. Care about them as people not merely votes to be tallied, but each infinitely unique in themselves. I can ramble about this till I'm blue in the face, but at the heart of this issue is about people and whether you want someone who will really listen to you and your concerns.
As always, I want to thank you all again for supporting change. Let's do this together!
