Minimum Wage

Here in Bowling Green a livable wage would be $13.89 for a single adult. With children that goes up even more (up to $27.90). And we are having to fight for a mere $15 an hour, which is not even enough here in Kentucky, but it is a start. Since 2009 the minimum wage has remained stagnant at $7.25 all the while the cost of living is increasing all the time. So, let us fight for the $15, but let us not be content with that. It's time everyone understood their worth. It's time to raise the minimum wage.
