The Child Tax Credit Begins Today...

This will help countless families that I had to write something about it here. The Child Tax Credit is a tax credit that was included in the American Rescue Plan (which had heavy Republican opposition), and it expands eligibility to many more families. The White House stated that it is a huge step in curbing the number of children living in poverty (by nearly 50% they say). I am so glad this is being dispensed to Americans especially during this tough time post-COVID it will truly be a ladder to many rather than a crutch. It will serve to get Americans back on their feet and not make them "lazy" as many Republicans have claimed.
